Prayer request

Please pray for my family, if you could. My dad and Miranda got in an accident on Saturday. They were both riding the dirt bike in the field behind our house and the front tire got stuck in a hole and they both flew over the handlebars. My brother, Ty, took my dad to the ER pretty soon after it happened; my mom was out of town with my sister, Kendra, for a soccer tournament.
The next day, Miranda was still complaining of her foot, so Ty took her in to the ER.
It ended up that my dad broke like 4 ribs and Miranda fractured her foot. I talked to my dad on Sunday and he was sore, but the pain medication they gave him was helping.

Wednesday, Miranda got a cast on her foot...she's bumming that she'll be out of soccer for the next few weeks.
But she's a champ, and will make her comeback as strong as ever! : )

Colorful

I received these from Braden when I got home from work today...they're very, colorful...but they go with what Braden wrote in the card that I got with the flowers.

It said: "these flowers are fun like you and colorful like your language"

To explain, we had a very...competitive soccer game with our co-ed team "Crossfire" last Friday night...it got a little heated and "colorful like your language" covers the rest...I had some apologizing to do after the game...

Camping in Kentucky

Saturday morning we drove with two other couples, Josh and Leah and Scott and April, to Frankfort, KY to go camping and canoeing at Still Waters Campground. On the way there we stoped at a yard sale that spands the entire length of highway 127. It was a pretty neat concept...the sale lasts all weekend and people sell everything right there along the side of the highway (it's a two lane highway, so it's not as dangerous as it sounds). People sold everything you could imagine...vhs tapes, christmas decorations, clothes, shoes, records, camping gear, books, cups, shelves, chairs, squirrel skin blankets (Seriously! But we do live in KY), lots of antiques, and so so so much more. When we got to the campground, we checked in and then started setting up camp right away.
Here's a pic of the boys setting up the tent we shared with Josh and Leah:All done:Our home away from home:After that was done we all got ready to try out the canoes.

The girls, right before our canoe adventure...April, me, and Leah:

The boys trying to figure it out...just kidding! they were good with the canoe:Tried to get everyone in the pic:
After the canoe trip the boys made dinner: burgers, hotdogs, chips and cookies-we were really roughing it!The rest of the night was spent around the campfire...s'mores were such a treat! We had a great time with our new friends and we definitely want to do it again soon!
